To Identify areas of tourism industry to establish priorities.
- Processing of received information about the potential of the city tourism.
- Establishing contacts with foreing partners that are cooperating in the sphere of tourism promotion.
- Supply information to tour operators and media.
- Provide an access to information for Ukrainian organizers of inbound tourism.
- Automatic internet service of tourist information and promotion of the city. |
| Project results: |
Center will act as a regional administrator of the city tourist information.
To support development of tourism marketing in Carpathian region of Ukraine and Kolomyia in particular. Tourist Information Centre will work with the projects of tourism direction, issue booklets with information about museums and historical monuments of the city, will conduct seminars, round tables, will coordinate work of travel companies or individual entrepreneurs and distribute tourist guides. The Centre will also ajust cooperation with the similar centres in countries, that are taking part in the program. |

The main task of the center is to provide information about places of accommodation, meals, transportation infrastructure, cultural events of the city (festivals, concerts, etc.), places of historical and cultural significance, including museums, monuments of nature, architecture, objects of tourist importance, tourism organizations and guide services, tours, and more. |
