To encourage youth debate initiatives and networks across the border covering Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg of Hungary and Maramures county of Romania
Specific objectives of the action
To strengthen capacity of youth networks across the borders To raise awareness, knowledge and skills of youth leaders in debate mastership; To develop and promote debate culture with the communities of three regions of Ukraine, Hungary and Romania
Estimated results
Established Carpathian International Debate Association – cross-border youth network; strengthening of the debate clubs through on-line digital library, range of educational and promotional materials to facilitate the debate mastership and various sectors’ knowledge; conducting various cross-border events between young people, like cross-border debate study session, international debate tournaments, debate shows, popularization of debate tradition across the borders, facilitating young active citizens – representatives of target groups who are able to initiate positive social, economic and cultural transformations to their communities.
