The strategic aims of the project „TOGETHER – Televisions without borders” include strengthening integration of people living in the cross-border regions of Hungary-Slovakia-Ukraine, with a special focus on social, economic cultural life. It is also aimed at cooperation and regional identity; it is helped through the cooperation of the Zemplén TV, the Tisza 1 TV, and Centrum Prvého Kontaktu, (First Contact Centre) Michalovce.
Specific objectives of the action
Our aim is to maintain and improve a joint communication infrastructure within the cooperation of the three televisions involved. It is meant to strengthen the coherence between people and their communities living in the cross-border regions so that they understand better each other and get ready for cooperation. Our aim is to foster the professional cooperation among the televisions stations, making joint programs and exchange them, also, to provide professional training and to establish a new internet communication channel and to organize joint events.
Estimated results
Strengthening the interregional and cross-border cooperation in the EU outer border area in the intersection of three state borders. Establishment, development and high level operation of the television-based communication infrastructure. Ensure the professional cooperation of the participating televisions on an ongoing basis. Organization of joint professional media training. Making television programs in cooperation, exchange of programs, implementation of joint events and creation of an internet television homepage.
