Overall objectives of the action

To empower women business development on rural green tourism area in Yaremchansky, Kosovsky, Verhovynsky and Nadvirnyanskomu rayons of Ivano-Frankivska region by training women on gender orientated skills and knowledge of informational-communication model.

Specific objectives of the action

1. Formation the basis for international cooperation and knowledge and experience exchange with partner from Romania in order to improve informational-communication space on rural green tourism; 2. Situation analysis of rural green tourism and level of women involvement in Ukraine and Romania; 3. Improvement of information support of women in the sphere of rural green tourism in Ivano-Frankivska region in order to increase their knowledge on this area; 4. Provide skills on business and business communication to women involved in rural green tourism and for those who plan to be involved through a series of trainings in Yaremchansky, Kosivsky, Verkhovynsky and Nadvirnyanskyy rayons of Ivano-Frankivsk region; 5. Attract attention of government bodies business entities to the problems of rural green tourism in Ivano-Frankivsk region, as well as to increase the activity of women in rural green tourism

Estimated results

1. The basis for international cooperation and knowledge and experience exchange with partner from Romania in order to improve informational-communication space on rural green tourism are formed; 2. Situation analysis of rural green tourism and level of women involvement in Ukraine and Romania is conducted: Romanian experience in rural tourism is researched; 450 women are surveyed and their problems on rural tourism business in Ukraine are indicated; 20 experts (representatives of government and business entities) are interviewed and the condition, needs and problems of rural tourism are revealed, as well as women's participation in rural tourism in Yaremchansky, Kosivsky, Verkhovynsky and Nadvirnyanskyy rayons of Ivano-Frankivsk region; Analysis of legislation on small and medium business in Ukraine is conducted; Analyzis of available statistical and sociological data, the results of other studies in the area of rural tourism in Yaremchansky, Kosivsky, Verkhovynsky and Nadvirnyanskyy rayons of Ivano-Frankivsk region is made; 3. Training module is developed and 4 trainings for women are conducted. As a result they got knowledge on business basis and communications techniques on rural tourism; 4. Resource tourism center is formed in Yaremche city; 5. English-Ukrainian web-page is developed; 6. Information materials are developed (2 brochures, a booklet, and “Perspective of rural tourism development in Ivano-Frankivska region. Women as the objects of rural tourism” manual). As a result the information support on rural tourism of women in Yaremchansky, Kosivsky, Verkhovynsky and Nadvirnyanskyy rayons of Ivano-Frankivsk region is improved. 7. Attention of government bodies, business entities to the problems of rural green tourism in Ivano-Frankivsk region is attracted as well as the activity of women in rural tourism is increased.
