Events2015 February 12. - Workshop for teaches
Carpathian Development Institute, Kosice, Slovakia (beneficiary) is going to organise workshop in order to facilitate understanding and transfer of climate change adaptation topic from the level of scientific knowledge to the school curriculum for the science teachers, within the project titled “LOC-CLIM-ACT: Local acting on climate change impacts” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013. Date: 2015 February 12, 10.00 – 12.00 CET Venue: Spissna Nova Ves City hall, Stefanikov namestie 1, small meeting room Participating organisations: Carpathian Development Institute, Slovakia Invited organisations: School teachers The main aim is to build awareness about the topic among the teachers and discuss approaches how the scientific knowledge on climate change adaptation could be incorporated into the school curriculum in a way understandable to the pupils.
