Overall objectives of the action

• deepening the environmental consciousness. • improving the touristic competitiveness of Little-Europe • creating the “Little-European identity”, • improving and generating partnerships, • preserving of the natural and cultural heritage,

Specific objectives of the action

• creating heritage tourism attractions, • developing a touristic product by the attraction of the heritage in the 3 counties, • improving professional competencies for target groups taking part in the exploration and exploitation of the values in the three counties, • creating a standard image, Little-Europe as an integrated destination, • organisational development as setting up a new cluster to sustain the values of heritage-tourism • presenting the heritage values, protecting the traditions, preserving the ancient culture and passing them on. The focus of the project is the touristic product development that meets demand trends, in which the main aim is to emphasize originality: develop unique products characteristic for all the three counties.

Estimated results

The main direct results are: 1 new heritage tourism portal, e-learning materials for 3 different target groups, 1 new heritage touristic strategy, events in semesters in the 3 regions. The main indirect estimated results are: • increasing the number of guests visiting the counties by 3%, • the average residence-time grows by 5%, • the number of touristic overnights increases by 5%, • broadening the average tourist spending in 10-15%.
