Overall objectives of the action

To support the development and implementation of energy effective technologies and cross-border cooperation in this sphere by means of joint activity of student youth, representatives of business sector and local authorities of Ivano-Frankivsk and Maramures regions.

Specific objectives of the action

Objective 1. To establish dialog and cooperation between the representatives of business sector, local authorities and student youth of Ivano-Frankivsk and Maramures regions regarding the renewable energy and resource saving issues. Objective 2. To provide youth with the possibility to express creative and alternative ideas on doing business applying the principles of sustainable development of the bordering regions of Ukraine and Romania. Objective 3. To spread the knowledge on energy saving and effective use of resources by means of publishing and access providing in the Internet to informational and analytical materials in the Ukrainian, Romanian and English languages. Objective 4. To set the tradition of regular interregional discussions assisting in direct change of ideas, cooperation between students, representatives of business sector and authorities of the region by establishment of International Student Debate Club

Estimated results

1). Performance of International Students Debates involving wide circle of interested parties and experts on energy saving and effective use of resources issues; 2). Establishment of -International Ukrainian Romanian Students Debate Club; 3). Spreading of up-to-date knowledge and best practices in the sphere of energy saving among the representatives of business sector and territorial communities of Ivano-Frankivsk and Maramures regions; 4). Establishment of the partnership ""Youth-authority-business"" for energetic, ecological and economic safety of the region.
