2012 August 07. - Project event: Strategic Planning Committee in Romania

Maramures mountains nature park is going to organise Strategic Planning Committee meeting in Romania in the frame of project titled “Breaking the borders: nature discovery trails to Eastern Carpathians” (HUSKROUA/1001/067) financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Who is invited:
Representatives from Maramures and Carpathian nature parks, representatives of the local business community from both territories, members of the Beneficiary and partner organizations,
consultants.

Topics to discuss at the event:

• Project Strategic planning committee composition, approval of its objectives, schedule for the meetings, agreeing upon other procedures, setting up deadlines and TORs for experts.
• Development of transfrontier nature tourism strategy and nature themes for tour packages (min 6 with the involvement of app. 30 tourist service provides).  Discussions of the phases and setting up deadlines.
• Preparation of the project design documentation for the model eco camp site, visit centre of the Carpathian national park and traditional tourist village at Paltin area.  Discussion on the best practice that should be taken into consideration during planning.
• Other issues: schedule of project action plan implementation, carrying out of infrastructure upgrading in Romania and Ukraine, project reporting, modifications etc.
• Setting up date and place of the next Strategic Planning Committee. Setting up the date and place of the Project Coordination Board meeting and approval of the agenda.
