2012 July 03. - Kick off Workshop of the project “Foresters towards lifelong learning for better forest management”

Beneficiary - NGO FORZA, Agency for sustainable development of the Carpathian region (Ukraine) and Partner – National Forest Centre (Slovakia) are going to organize the kick off workshop in the frame of project titled “Foresters towards lifelong learning for better forest management”  (project ID: HUSKROUA 1001/028) financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

From Slovakia: representatives of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, of State Forest Administration, National Forest Centre, State Forests of the Slovak Republic, Municipal Forests of Košice, Municipal Forests of Prešov,  Pro Populo Poprad, s. r. o. (Church Forests)

From Ukraine: representatives of the Ukrainian Center for training and improvement of professional skills of forest management specialists, Carpathian Regional Training Center for foresters, Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk forest and hunting administrations, directors of forest enterprises from Transcarpathia and Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ivano-Frankivsk mountain forest research institute, protected areas

Topics to be discussed:
Project introduction: goals, objectives, main activities and estimated results 
Systems of lifelong learning education for foresters in Slovakia and Ukraine
Close to nature silviculture approaches and their application in Slovakia and Ukraine
Besides field excursion for Ukrainian participants and press conference will take place during the event

2012 July 03. - Project event: Study visit, international workshop, EES operators training and energy video training

The Romanian Partner "Energy Management Agency of Maramures"  is going to organise a study visit, international workshop, EES operators training and energy video training in the frame of project titled EUROPEAN EXCHANGE SCHOOL (HUSKROUA/0901/011) financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

The events will take place between 2-4 July 2012 in Sighetu Marmatiei and Baia Mare (Maramures, Romania).

The objective of the events is to highlight environmental actions and projects carried out by the schools and to create the premises for partnership development in view of future cooperation between educational institutions in Maramures and cross border regions of Zakarpatia (UA), Ivano-Frankivsk (UA), Maramures (RO), Szatmar Bereg (HU) and Presov (SK).
