2012 September 28. - International Tourist Competitions

Association of Students-Economists of Zakarpattya, Uzhgorod, Ukraine (Beneficiary) together with its project partners is going to organize project event - International Tourist Competitions in the frame of project titled “Extreme sports for better life”, ref. HUSKROUA/1001/043 financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Date: 2012 September 28-30.

Venue: hotel Čingov, Smižany–Hradisko, Slovakia

Participating organisations – project partners: Sportclub Magnezit Ferona Košice, Slovakia, NGO “Initiative of regional development and cross-border co-operation”, Ukraine and Transcarpathian Regional Federation of Kyokushin Karate, Ukraine.

Invited organisations: City Public Organization Adventure Club “Lynx”, Uzhgorod, Ukraine, representatives of the Mountain Rescue Service, Slovakia and the Slovak media (electronic and print).

The International Tourist Competitions – demonstrational competition is aimed at exchange of experience among sport instructors and promotion of healthy and active way of life among children and youth in order to attract their attention to sport. Event includes the following blocks: mountain biking, mountain tourism and trekking. Event includes theoretical, practical and test elements of tourist routes.

Participation in the event is by invitation only.

2012 September 28. - Municipal consultation – "The mechanism of involving the private sector residents to separate collection and sorting of solid waste. Raising public awareness"

Beneficiary, Executive committee of Ivano-Frankivsk city council, Partner 1, Baia Mare city council, and Partner 2, NGO “Center of municipal and regional development – resource center”, are going to organise the municipal consultation in the frame of project titled “Improvement of environment in Ivano-Frankivsk and neighboring region applying environmentally sound technologies in municipal solid wastes management based on experience of Baia Mare, Maramures (Romania)” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.
 

Exact date and venue: 28th of September 2012, Baia Mare city, Romania.

Participants: representatives of both municipalities (Ivano-Frankivsk and Baia Mare), project team members.
Topics to discuss at the event:

  • Discussion of results of the local action plan for Baia Sprie town (Baia Mare area);
  • Involving the private sector residents to separate collection and sorting of solid waste. Experience of Ivano-Frankivsk and Baia Mare;
  • Raising public awareness in the private sector in solid waste collection management;
  • Project implementation progress. Event’s summarizing.

The event is not open for public.
