Who is invited for participation in the Debate Workshop:

Local students, teachers, members of Központ Egyesület and any enquirer.

Activities during the event:

The Debate Workshop will be one of the event promoting the role and importance debates amongst young people and their professors.

This event aims at making acquaintance with debate methodology and getting involve people to the forthcoming local debate tournaments.

The workshop will provide target groups of the Action with the necessary skills and knowledge as far as the basis of the debate master classes - carrying out the debates tournaments for the pupils and students in each of three countries. Pupils of the workshops will be involved into activity of the international debate association.

The Debate Club will work as a leisure occasion for the involved ones to get to know each other, to ‘work’ on starting to evolve a debating community, to talk about debate-related events and to plan the next date and place for the clubs.

The club also fulfils the role of being a forum, where youth can talk about their problems, as well as youth related problems (local or global) and make a proposal to solve those problems.
