2013 May 15. - Trainings for Slovakian forestry practitioners

Beneficiary - NGO FORZA, Agency for sustainable development of the Carpathian region (Ukraine) and Partner – National Forest Centre (Slovakia) are going to organize the training for Ukrainian trainers in the frame of project titled HUSKROUA 1001/028 “Foresters towards lifelong learning for better forest management” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Venue: Košice (Pension GRAND), Slovakia

The advanced trainings courses are aimed at the improvement of knowledge of forestry practitioners including forest managers and representatives of forest administration on close to nature forestry and multifunctional forest management. The trainings will take place 2 times in Prešov and the last will be held in Košice. The duration of the training will be 2 days with 20 participants from Slovakia each. The 2 days event program comprises theoretical presentations, group discussions and practical lessons on the sample plot in the forest.
