2012 September 13. - Project event – Inception conference

Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre (Uzhgorod, Ukraine) is going to organise an Inception conference in the frame of project titled “Integrated network of bicycle touring routes along the Ukrainian-Hungarian border” financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.
Exact date: 13 September 2012
Venue:  conference hall of “Druzhba” Hotel in Uzhgorod, Transcarpathian region, Ukraine.

The task of the event is to promote the project within the target areas, Transcarpathian region of Ukraine and Szabolcs-Szatmar-Bereg region of Hungary, as well as to discuss the following issues: promotion of cross-border tourism, attracting more tourists and making them stay for a longer time in the region by means of building new bicycle touring routes and related infrastructure.
Implementation period of the project is 12 months. The lead Partner of the project is the Ukrainian-Hungarian Regional Development Centre (Uzhgorod, Ukraine). Among the project Partners are Road Service in Transcarpathian Region (Ukraine), Tourism Information Centres Network of Transcarpathia (Ukraine), Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Museum Directory (Hungary) and Self-government of Beregsurány (Hungary).

2012 September 13. - Project event: Introducing Traditional Crafts

The Hungarian partner Magyar-Szlovák Két Tanítási Nyelvű Nemzetiségi Általános Iskola és Kollégium  is going to organise an event Introducing Traditional Crafts in the frame of project titled “Friendship - connect the nations” HUSKROUA/1001/149 financed from the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine 2007-2013.

Date: 13-15 September 2012

15-15-15 pupils from Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine take part Introducing Traditional Crafts activity that is the third event in project titled above. The event will take place at the partner school above ( H-3980 Sátoraljaújhely, Balassi B. 4.)

Arrival and traditional welcome ceremony with bread and salt
Accommodation fo the pupils, lunch
Sightseeing tour aorund the town, welcome speech at the City Hall by the Mayor
Theoretical introduction to the local traditional crafts, instruments, health and safety lecture
Entertaning event in the evening

14/09/2012 
Meet the local craftsmen and their products:
Cooking activity: maikng plum jam in the copper pot, baking bread in the traditional oven built outside
Workshop activity: painting bottles, working with leather, cutting wood
After lunch planting a memorable tree together.
Sport event
Presentations of each other’s school, folk dance performance of the local folk dance groups, slide show on previous activities (Non-traditonal sports SK, Bicycle Camp HU)

Opening ceremony for the exhibition on the products pupils made (wood art, leather porducts, glass paintings ....). Evaluation of the porducts, sharing awards.
